Sampling Canada publishes the Canadian Diabetes Care Guide, a digest sized magazine written by Diabetes Professionals for people with diabetes. Established in 1995 it contains information on diet, exercise, medication and necessary lifestyle changes. It is packed into the Canadian Diabetes Care Kit, a package that contains samples and information/coupons for people with diabetes. All materials are available free of charge to patients through participating diabetes educational clinics nationally.
The purpose of the Canadian Diabetes Care Guide is to help and inform people with diabetes as they are involved in learning about and planning their new lifestyle. The Guide simply offers easy to follow, practical advice and is intended to complement instruction from Diabetes Educators.
